Homebrew CMS for the Win
Holy crap, it’s so much faster than Wordpress.

Holy crap, it’s so much faster than Wordpress.
So if you’re reading this right now, it’s on my new lightweight CMS. It’s a compile-time system that works directly with my favorite writing app, Scrivener, so I can manage my own content right in the app I use the most. To be fair, it’s mostly an n8n workflow that works with a few custom-engineered connectors so I can use Scrivener across my Macs/iPhone/iPad and always have both my writing projects and my Workshop posts right at my fingertips.
This is part of a longer project to move my website off Wordpress (and third-party/commercial software) entirely and onto my own stacks. The goal is to get this to a quick build I can drop on whatever server my domain’s pointing at. The only things that require workflow/connectors are publishing, so even if the whole thing blows up I can still push updates directly to the live site like in the old days.
Man, tech really has gotten cool over the years. :)
